This study examines the representation of hegemony and resistance in the novel 3726 MDPL: Aku, Kamu, dan Rinjani by Nurwina Sari using Antonio Gramsci’s theory of hegemony and the literary sociology approach. The research highlights how power is not only exercised through macro-structures such as the state or capital, but also operates subtly within interpersonal relationships, cultural expectations, and internalized ideologies. Through a qualitative and hermeneutic analysis of the text, the study finds that the protagonist, Andini, resists hegemonic norms related to gender, emotional dependence, and the commodification of nature. Mount Rinjani, as both a literal and symbolic setting, functions as a counter-hegemonic space where the character reclaims her agency. The findings suggest that personal narratives in literature often conceal ideological tensions, and that literature can serve as a critical space for questioning dominant cultural narratives and articulating resistance
