The Influence of Job Demand on Employee Performance with Job Burnout and Job Satisfaction as the Mediating Variables (A Study on Employees of the Western Java Region of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Supply & Distribution)

This research is intended to investigate The Effect of Job Demand on Employee Performance through job burnout and job satisfaction. This research used a sample of PT. Pertamina Patraniaga Supply and Distribution Regional Jawa Bagian Barat employees using a random sampling technique. A sample of 112 respondents was obtained which was analyzed using structural equation modeling partial least squares with Smart-PLS software. The results show that job demands do not affect employee performance, meanwhile job demands have a positive effect on job burnout and job demands do not affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance, job burnout does not affect employee performance. Job satisfaction and job burnout are unable to mediate the relationship between job demands and employee performance
