Abstract

This research is intended to investigate The Effect of Job Demand on Employee Performance through job burnout and job satisfaction. This research used a sample of PT. Pertamina Patraniaga Supply and Distribution Regional Jawa Bagian Barat employees using a random sampling technique. A sample of 112 respondents was obtained which was analyzed using structural equation modeling partial least squares with Smart-PLS software. The results show that job demands do not affect employee performance, meanwhile job demands have a positive effect on job burnout and job demands do not affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance, job burnout does not affect employee performance. Job satisfaction and job burnout are unable to mediate the relationship between job demands and employee performance
