The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the concept of teachers from the perspective of Islamic education. In the view of some people, teachers have a very important role, even considered as a spiritual father figure for their students. He is in charge of conveying knowledge, providing moral guidance, and explaining good behavior. Teachers also bear a great responsibility in educating, guiding, directing, and leading their students to happiness in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, to become a professional and qualified educator, one needs to fulfill a number of requirements and have certain characteristics that reflect an ideal personality in carrying out his duties and responsibilities according to Islamic teachings. In addition, he must also realize his responsibility to students based on faith, piety to Allah SWT, and the ability to develop students' physical, mental and spiritual potential
