Assertive Employees Behaviour: A Theoretical Analysis of Conflict Management on Firms Productivities

Abstract

While employee assertive behaviour is inevitable, and conflict signifies negativities, it is necessary to drive leadership and effective management, allowing for productive engagement. However, research on the relationship between these variables is limited. The objective of this study was to explore employee assertive behaviour: a theoretical analysis of conflict management on firms’ productivity. A complete review of the available research literature was conducted utilizing a qualitative study method. Findings revealed that, when disagreements are handled assertively, people are inclined to feel encouraged to express their concerns, which increases self-esteem, productivity, and confidence in future interactions. The findings suggest that organizational leaders should be empathetic while dealing with conflict caused by assertive behavior in the workplace, viewing it as
