Public Speaking Training for the Management and Activists of Alamendah Tourism Village

TThe purpose of this Community Service activity is to improve public sepaking skills for the Management and Activists of Alamendah Tourism Village in order to provide excellent service to tourists who come to visit. Alamendah tourism village is relatively advanced as evidenced by the fact that it has received an award at the Anugerah Desa Wisata (ADWI) event from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) in 2021. However, the managers, administrators and village officials of Alamendah tourist village have challenges in terms of human resource (HR) readiness, especially in public speaking skills. For this reason, it is necessary for Alamendah tourism village managers to learn public speaking skills. The training method was carried out through 2 sessions, the first was a basic knowledge session, and the second was an interactive and practical session. The results of the training activities were effective and had an impact on Alamendah tourism village activists on public speaking skills related to; (1) Effective Public Speaking Techniques for Tourists and Digital Content, (2) Strategic Public Speaking for Promotion and Services
