The Effect of Tacit Knowledge and Explicit Knowledge on Career Development in Employees of the Energy and Mineral Resources Office of West Java Province

Career development is a major focus in human resource development, including government institutions. Career development is an effort to maintain and improve the overall performance and competitiveness of the organization. The main problem in this study is the extent to which tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge simultaneously or partially affect the career development of employees of the Energy and Mineral Resources Office of West Java Province. The research method uses quantitative research. Total population 73 with saturated sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, literature study, and questionnaire. In testing using descriptive analysis test, instrument test, and hypothesis testing with a real level of 0.05, with SPSS 30 software. The results showed that tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge had an effect both partially and simultaneously on career development
